Position is offsite but must be commutable distance to Norfolk, VA or San Diego, CA.

We have an immediate opening for an Application and Sharepoint Developer (Automation and Reporting) who will be responsible for automating manual processes, creating/updating existing tools, and transitioning our Cyber and Risk Management SharePoint Site to Flankspeed Sharepoint supporting PEO Digital.  

Position Duties:

• Create reporting, visualization and self-service data analysis using Power Business Intelligence (BI) tools. 
• Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain custom developed applications. 
• Collaborate proactively with functional users, analysts, and other team members to gather business requirements for reporting. 
• Understand business requirements, determine implementation strategy, and translate into reports that conform to reporting best practices and standards. 
• Create technical design specifications and develop analytical reports using Microsoft Power BI reporting tools. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. 
• Debug, tune, optimize, and report performance. 
• Maintain and apply coherent, optimized, integrated, and standardized processes and solutions. 
• Perform front end web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. 
• Develop, implement, and administer SharePoint sites. 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Secret Clearance Required at hire date 
• 2+ years of hands-on Power BI or similar experience required (2 - 3 implementations) 
• Sharepoint Experience 
• 2+ years of analytics implementation in a complex environment 
• Knowledge of basic coding languages including Visual Basic and JavaScript 
• Experienced in using relational and non relational databases 
• Experienced in supporting Agile efforts in a SCRUM environment 
• No travel is required for this position 

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree

Salary:  $70,000-$95,000. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
